Bio
Amanda Waring is a Creative Artiste – an award winning performer and West End Star playing the title role of GIGI in the Musical at the age of 19.
She was asked to sing for the Queen at the Royal Variety Show and she opened Shakespeare’s Globe theatre. She has starred in many TV series,Tucker’s Luck, Casualty, All Creature great and Small, Sherlock Holmes and films including playing the Princess in the Oscar nominated animated film Princess and the Pea.
As Artistic director of Walk Our Talk Productions She has written, performed and directed many revues performing around the world with Dame Virginia McKenna, Hugh Bonneville and Robert Powell. Her audio recording of Now we are 60 won the NIBI award .
She continues to tour the uk with her critically acclaimed one woman shows, For the Love Of Chocolate, A Glass half full and Medicine Stories Spirit Songs and has been the hit of Edinburgh and Brighton festivals to name but a few.
Her songs and healing music are used extensively around the world to bring comfort to many who maybe facing challenges.
As a perfomance poet Amanda opens the hearts of many with her unique style and heartfelt delivery and she is in demand to lead well being workshops, retreats and women’s circles using all of her creative gifts.
Her award winning films and books are used by millions around the world to awaken compassion for elders and to improve care. All her campaigning work includes Amanda playing her drum and letting her very important messages be heard.
